Drew Gilpin Faust is a famous American Historian. He was born on September 18, 1947, in New York City, U.S. She is well known as the first woman in the role of serving as the 28th president of Harvard University. Her parents are Catharine Ginna and McGhee Tyson Gilpin. She received her early education in her hometown. She completed her degree of B.A from Bryn Mawr College in 1968 and an M.S & Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. Faust marreid to Charles E. Rosenberg. In 1988 she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
